Here you can find the information on achieved deliverables (outputs & results) within the project dedicated to the thematical workpackages.
Project-status at project-closure:
The project was finalized, after a three months' project prolongation. PARAmount could achieve the strong involvement of regional stakeholders, starting with the survey on risk analysis and culminating in 4 post graduate courses held in the final project phase in Italy and Austria. The cooperation between the partners was well organized, all partners contributed to the brochures, main outputs of the work-packages 7 and 8. They were distributed to all partner-institutions, online-versions are available at the project-homepage. The mapping in work-package 5 has been finalized, the hazard and transportation focused risk maps being the basis for further cooperation with stakeholders. All partners were able to implement the hazard early warning systems: thanks to several events occurred during project lifetime, post-event analysis could be done, but all systems will be continued beyond project-lifetime. The 2 project conferences organised met with highly positive response from the public.
Workpackage 4: Regional SWOT Analysis and Risk Management State-of-the-Art
The Workpackage 4 was finished in February 2011 and the first project milestone was achieved.
The objective - to generate a common basis for further work - was fuliflled. Act. 4.1 raise the awareness of the project topic in public and gave important insights in the daily work of praticioners. Other actions provided a good overview about the current situation (data/information, impact, SoA).

Workpackage 5: Regional Risk Scenarios
Risk assessment on the regional level was carried out in selected regional test-beds, resulting in hazard and risk maps (debris flow, avalanches, rock fall) with transport infrastructure relevance. For a detailed information on the outputs and deliverables, please use the link of each single activity.
Workpackage 6: Forcast Systems for Risk Management on Traffic Routes
Forecast models were harmonised and adapted to the special requirements of the transport sector. Hazard eary warning tools were insalled and are working. According to the regional conditions, the actions in the test beds are focusing on different hazard processes. All PPs contribute to the final WP6 report (guidelines) which will consist of three separate parts, based on the 3 different processes (avalanche, rockfall, debris-flow).
Workpackage 7: Decision Support for Infrastructure Protection
The Regional Risk Dialogue was completed and lead to an ivolvement of regional stakeholders and political representatives in the test-bed areas. The WP7 brochure "Decision Support Guidelines" was prepared, coordinated by the WP7-leader, IRSTEA. The outcomes of Act. 7.3. (chapter 05) and 7.4. (chapter 06) are part of the WP8 brochure. So is the contribution of the project-partners to Act. 7.5, which is part of the overall WP7 brochure (chapter 06).
Workpackage 8: Evaluation and Recommendation
The WP8-Brochure "Risk Management and Implementation Handbook (RMIH)" was finalized by the project-end, coordinated by the work-package-leader, PP2, BFW. The outcomes of the activities 8.1 are part of this overall WP8-brochure (chapter 04), as well as 8.3, 8.2 are part of the overal WP7-Brochure "Decision Support Guidelines" (chapter 02) and 8.4 is included in chapter 04 of the WP8 brochure. A number of post-graduate courses was organized by by PP3 & 4 ( May 31st to June 1st, 2012, Bolzano), PP5 (November 2012, Trento & Innsbruck) and PP2 & LP (with contributions by PP1, 3, 5, 8/9 & 10) (October 2012, Innsbruck).
